

After being approved in the Mapna Group’s Strategic Value Engineering Committee, the wind power plant value engineering project was assigned to Development 1 Company for implementation in cooperation with Mapna Management Consulting Company. The pre-meeting workshop on the project was held on February 16, 2015 at Mapna Management Consulting Company. The basics of the value engineering project were extracted after teaching value engineering techniques.
The main workshop sessions were held on April 6 and 7, 2015 in the city of Qazvin. In the brainstorming stage, 846 ideas were extracted, which set a new record in the Mapna Group and probably in Iran. Then, on April 18, a meeting was held for evaluating the ideas in Qazvin and 98 ideas were determined for the development stage. This was followed by five more development sessions that narrowed the number of ideas to 22 for the final project value engineering stage. The results were very impressive and significant and will be announced after being presented to the client.
