A contract was signed between the Mapna Group’s Rail Transport Unit and overhaul companies for the value engineering of a project on “Reducing locomotive downtime on the track”. This contract was defined with the aim of reducing downtime in Iran Safir locomotives made by Mapna Locomotive Engineering and Manufacturing Company in order to maintain and promote this brand name and prevent the occurrence of contractual crimes. The pre-meeting workshop on the project is considered to be held in November 2015 and the project is expected to be finished by March 2016.
